I began painting watercolors four years ago after retiring from my nursing and safety career. I am intrigued by the way water, paper and pigments mingle and how I can use various techniques and brushes to create lovely scenes that others enjoy. My latest obsession is eco printing. These prints on paper or fabric are made by processing plant materials with certain chemicals, pressure and steam. I am a member of the Grand Valley Artist Association and have displayed my work in ArtPrize, Maude’s Garage in Ludington, Salon Re and Bliss & Vinegar in Grand Rapids. I’m married and have two children and eight grandchildren. My husband and I enjoy bicycling, camping and being with our family.
