My formal education is in art design, sculpture and oil painting, studying at Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan, 1970-1972, and at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, 1975-1977. My illustrations were first published in the mid 70’s, when I worked in Florida as a landscaper, odd connection, I know. I later began submitting articles along with my photographs for publication in local newspapers. They were mostly human interest stories, but sometimes about community theater. I took up sound design in 1982, working at many mid-Michigan theaters and have won 20 awards for this. I've been a musician since 1969 and have had songs played on radio stations across the country, which is a lot of fun. I like to record, but not play live so much, I'm not sure why. I've exhibited my paintings and photographs and enjoy the feedback doing that. Check out my music at
