The annual Arts in Ada will take place on May 20 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Learn how to paint the model and surrounding scene in oil in a 12-hour pose from life. (Same model, same pose, three separate 4-hour sessions) The cost is $200 plus model’s fee*.
Thursdays from 10–2 p.m., May 25th, June 1st, and June 8th.
There will be a materials review Monday, May 15th at 12:15 p.m. A materials list will also be emailed a week before the workshop starts.

The following GVA artists will be on display at the Cascade Library until August: Bonnie Lindke, Carol Laurn, Kristen Thornton, Sri Oetjoen Soekarmoen, and Gene Sampson. Don't miss the opportunity to see a large collection of Jim Johnson's beautiful watercolor paintings at The Reception Gallery at the Frauenthal Center in Muskegon. Next week will be warmer and a great time to take a trip out to Muskegon. The Frauenthal is open during regular business hours. This is a must see of one of Grand Valley Artists wonderful artists. Jim's work will be hanging at the Frauenthal Center through May.
