COLOR is one of the most important components of a painting, besides composition, and it’s also very personal or subjective!
Margaret Kriegbaum will lead a 2-day COLOR workshop on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The workshop costs $40.00.
In this workshop, we’ll improve our observation and understanding about color theory and application in order to enhance our work. Topics include:
• the importance of thinking three-dimensionally about color;
• how less can mean more in terms of color;
• how to establish and correct a color scheme;
• learn practical color tips including skin tones, blending, glazing, shadows
There will be a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation, handouts, and exploratory exercoses.
Ultimately, we’ll understand “Why did I make this color choice?”!
